MCBoss, from under the wreckage of a bombed headquarters, boots up a
global simulation connecting his consciousness to his global business
and government empire.

He kind of hunkers down, and the simulation acts as if all the
self-driving cars and drones and financial systems and hydraulic
dumpsters hunker down, too.

He makes to look out all the cameras on everybody’s phones, laptops,
and entryway surveillance, and the simulation gives him reprocessed
video of things going on all over the world, pretending that
everything is exactly as he wants it to be.

He looks out all these cameras, and hunkers down all these actuators.
And he blinks.

The simulation has the whole world blink with him.
