their share price - tying their "brand" (if you can still call it
that), to the greatest Russiagate "true news" story of the new
millenium - <drum roll> - “Putin done it!”.

And the crowd goes wild.

Or something.

At least, CNN's share price goes wild.  Wildly down, down, share
prices are down, into the abyss.
