And "Jerry Muller" is "on the money" when he paints Jews as
historically oppressed since "in medieval Christian Europe were the
only ones allowed to engage in finance" - those poor, poor oppressed
Jews, having to suffer so much - at least he posits an apt moment of
truth: "In necessity, sin never had a better enemy ... we still live
with the consequence"
