tending to little animals in woods some of the animals have learned to trust the mind controlled utopia dwellers because they never harm them the utopians go out and feed and comfort voles and moles and little ground-feeding birds and fieldmice everybody knows these creatures are precious and their wounds need to be tended to and their ecologies protected hiding to others, harms one of the creatures ... ... others all stop, holding the space harmer: "this creature was harmed and needs care" utopians (looking at harmer): "we're crying because of how much and strongly you were and do."
