it's so much fun to recover from covid-19 !
when you finally stop coughing and shivering and can move any part of your body, notably your lungs or throat, without significant pain
you discover you're in a warm comfortable environment like a hospital room or a hotel
how did i get somewhere so comfortable and warm with such simple and pleasant food and drink that i for some reason haven't been consuming? why do i love so much taking these massive gross-tasting antiviral tablets?
whatever is going on, it seems like i'll be okay!
so far the biggest thing i learned is to get yourself a covid test as soon as you have disabling flu symptoms. because the inflammation of your alveoli can cause permanent scarring if it gets too bad, which reduces your ability to have oxygenated blood for the rest of your life. the inflammation can also be an avenue of harm to your brain or kidneys. i didn't think it was real and waited a few days before getting tested.
