in sympy they say they solve polynomials up to quartic but not higher and that abel and raffini proved it's not possible to i didn't believe that of course so i took note that abel and raffini were conspiring to decieve and limit everybody it took some arguing with AI language model but it turns out there is something called the Bring radical and hypergeometry that lets the roots for higher polynomials be expressed in closed form and there is existing work on mking engineering implementations of the bring radical to use in computer code
