end of situation status on revoked registration: - it looks like on february 12 my insurance informed the state my insurance had lapsed due to billing difficutiles. this was during a brief time window and i haven't found direct documentation of it, but it seems likely. i did not find mail of this likely related to issues with mail forwarding between multiple addresses (i haven't been getting change-of-address mail which i used to use to navigate hopping around). - it is now august 6th and my car was towed cause an officer found it strange i was camping by the side of the road and my plates pulled up as invalid. officers have found my car in the months between, also for the same reason, but did not do this. - officers often don't reveal to me all the problems with my paperwork, maybe because there are many or they have reasons (could be polite) - i'm homeless again despite now having a place :) kind of an unfortunate pileup but looking back at it being almost 6 months since the cause for revocation it doesn't seem that unreasonable to leave me on the streets, as i may have been driving criminally this whole time
what's kind of weird is all those 6 months i was paying for the lapsed insurance! the revocation happened right before i fixed payment. but none of these 6 months of insurance payment were recognized by the state!
