Friday into weekend... cities across US uncork protest action against State re George Floyd... https://twitter.com/MPRnews https://twitter.com/inteldotwav https://twitter.com/Breaking911 https://twitter.com/BNONews National Guard apparently arrives... then flees as well... https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/05/minneapolis-police-national-guard-d... " Protesters outside the Fifth Precinct chanting, “Say his name! George Floyd." No law enforcement out here all night. No National Guard. People currently setting the Wells Fargo drive thru on fire. This is one block from the 5th precinct. It’s interesting to be out here versus watching it on Twitter. It feels more safe than you might imagine, despite people setting things on fire and police staring down from the roof with guns. It still feels like a strange version of a summer night in south Minneapolis somehow. Something that could be missed in all this. A lot of people on the street are being really decent to each other. People offering each other masks & hand sanitizer. Maybe it’s just my take bc this is my neighborhood (& things could change) but I haven’t seen one person hurt anyone.
