What's nice in that idea, is an idea of bothness. We stimulate our behaviors, and so do things outside us. Looking at a general world, I'm thinking that if you try with superior force to engulf a sentience, that this is possible. And it is a different thing from the death of that sentience: but you can then kill them. Similarly, there is always influence from a sentience, that nothing else understands. Sometimes this influence is lightyears away. But usually it is dense and nearer.
