they could have been recreating their repo for professional anonymity reasons, and geniusly constructed their works as a sophisticated joke or they could have been recreating their repo because they have no idea how to use git and their work was all generated by AI [it's telling there's a podcast maybe i should transcribe it] [also the paper is great material for learning new domains]
i'm guessing there's something encrypted in the works that they're developing [i also kinda guess they're working for a larger influence group cause there's a podcast :s [and the other reasons but on that last point _i've_ done work for a larger influence group and i did it _cause my subconscious had been covertly programmed and took over my body_ and i get the impression that's happened to many others
