Re: Bidzos Holds Key / A hacker's paradise

Someone just asked me if it would be possible for the NSA to use a front company to buy crypto patents (or companies that own lots of crypto patents), then simply pull them off the market. When I thought about it I couldn't understand why they haven't done it already. Can whoever ends up with the rsa patent pull rsaref off the market, and retroactively make software that uses it illegal? Or would they just be able to prevent people from writing new code with rsaref?

No.

No, they couldn't do that either. .pm

1) Wasn't hacker's paradise the theme to Dangerously Mindless? Tell me why are we so blind to see That the code we need is on ftp 2) I keep getting wierd mental pictures of Jim Bizdos in that Saturday Night Live sketch "You likea the source? It's a good source. Hey, he no likea the source" --- They say in online country So which side are you on boys There is no middle way Which side are you on You'll either be a Usenet man Which side are you on boys Or a thug for the CDA Which side are you on?
