Matt mentioned difficulty in finding a public domain dictionary that had parts of speech. The reason I am posting is because a few weeks ago Grady Ward announced that he was making his "Moby Lexicon" available for free, and I seem to recall that this included part of speech information. If so, this could be an opportunity for someone else to explore this method.
