This is a key project for Sun, with high visibility both within the company and the industry. This position is located in the San Francisco Bay area in California. (Currently we're located in Palo Alto, but since we're growing, we'll have to move to a new building sometime this year. It'll be in the south bay somewhere.) Security Engineering Specialist Candidate will be responsible for implementing secure protocols and internet commerce in the Java language and the HotJava browser. Knowledge of current and emerging Net commerce protocols, including SSL, SHTTP, and the various forms of digitcal cash is required. Candidates should be familiar with programming in an object-oriented language. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary. A BSCS required,; MSSCS highly desirable.
