Subj: Internet Scam

Many of you have probably received a message lately regarding a company called Lexis which is distributing names, social security numbers, etc. to people over the internet for illegal use (i.e. to obtain credit in your name). The message advises you to call a number, give your name and social security number, and they will take you off the list.

DON'T DO THIS!!

The scam is to have you call and give the info to them. The social security office is advised of this and is investigating the company.
