It has also been suggested that "bit-bucket" addresses, people who would receive messages from the network and discard them, would help.
Consider that a number of "bit-bucket" addresses already exist -- to exploit them, all you have to do is include the name of a particular account in the midwest, whose mail is already automatically filtered out by a vast number of cypherpunks readers :-)
