[wg-all] Survey on creation of an HPC-oriented social platform

Dear OGF community,

There's been lots of discussion of starting an HPC/AI & related fields social media platform that's separate from the commercial, politicized ones and focused on community issues and topics. This is partly driven by concerns on existing platforms and partly by the desire for a friendly, low-overhead, easy to adopt method to exchange information that will encourage participation and lower barriers to building helpful relationships.

A survey is ready at https://survey.hpc.social to evaluate support and needs for an HPC.social server. (You may need to wait for your DNS servers to update as this is brand new, just launched.)

Please fill this out and broadcast it to colleagues and HPC-interested friends so we can get good community input! The decision on whether to go forward with this effort will be based on community input.
