With thanks and a hat tip to Kevin Meynell, please see the following reminder of upcoming deadlines for early-bird registration and hotel special rates for the upcoming GEC 22, including US Ignite, OGF 43 and GLIF Techs meeting #23.

The meetings are all being handled by one registration. GEC 22 and US Ignite run from March 23-26 and OGF 43 + GLIF overlap with this, running from March 25-27 (26 for OGF-only meetings, and NSI+GLIF March 26-27, with room for any additional meetings that emerge from the call for session requests also).

There will be a virtual Cloud Plugfest all that week, allowing participants to take advantage of access to experts on various cloud standards and implementations. GEC 22 includes a Developer Day March 26 at this event, and a demo Tuesday March 24 of the US NSF CloudLab environment. For those interested in Cloud Privacy, there will be a Public Sector Cloud Summit hosted nearby in Reston, Virginia by our Cloud Plugfest partners, the Cloud Standards Customer Council, that you can attend also at a modest additional fee; otherwise attendance at the Virtual Cloud Plugfest is free, and the other events just mentioned are included in the registration for the GEC event.

Please register early for GEC 22 and book your hotel to take advantage of these reduced rates. Please also note that registration for OGF 44 May 21-22 in Lisbon, Portugal is also open; see the OGF 44 link under “Events” on the ogf.org web site

I’d like to remind you that the early bird registration fee of USD 350 is only available until the end of this week (1 March 2015). After this it will increase to USD 385. 

The GLIF Technical Working Group will take place on 26-27 March 2015 at the Hilton Crystal City Hotel, Arlington, USA, and is being held in conjunction with the 22nd GENI Engineering Conference and OGF 43.
