A new document has been published in the OGF series.  All OGF
documents (including any that are open for public comment) may be

Abstract:
  This document provides information to the grid community, proposing a
standard for a Python language binding to the Simple API for Grid
Applications (SAGA). As a SAGA language binding, it depends upon the
SAGA Core API Specication, the currently defined SAGA API extension
packages and on the draft Resource API Extension.
