Dear OGF colleagues,

We hope you have made your arrangements to attend OGF 39 and the associated Cloud Interoperability Week and Cloud Plugfest sessions at the EGI Technical Forum in Madrid. We look forward to seeing you for the entire week of activities if possible from 16th through the 20th of September!

More information if you need it is on the OGF web site at the link below. That page contains links to the rest of the activities going on during this busy week.

(or just click on the "OGF 39" link on the main OGF web site at http://ogf.org )

If you have not yet submitted a request for session proposal for any BOFs, work group meetings, special sessions or other OGF community activities, please do so right away. The Call For Session Proposals page is linked from the above location, or you can proceed directly to the session request page at the following link. (Log on or create an OGF Redmine account if you have not already done so - a free account is needed to use the OGF Redmine system.)

(You can see the sessions requested already by leaving the "new" off of that link, or by clicking on the "Issues" tab within it if you have already navigated there.)

Note: We have had some occasional issues with slow response on Redmine when ongoing web crawler probes hit it, so if you encounter problems, please wait a few minutes and try again. We are looking at ways to adjust our back-end server resources to deal with this increased crawler load, which seems to have gone up lately. Otherwise the system works just fine, so please persist and let us know if you encounter any persistent problems.

Don't forget about the two documents we still have in public comment, available at the link below. Whether or not you plan to be there in Madrid, we would like to hear from you!

Best regards and I hope to see many of you at OGF 39!
