Hi Laura,

This sounds like a very full and thorough set of objectives. We must make
sure that we follow this when we hold each meeting to ensure all issues are
covered and not get bogged down.

Regards

David

Subject: [userserv-wg] GGF13 Session Requests

I am going to request two sessions for GGF13 in Seoul. I believe that we
have two goals to accomplish: resolve merger issues (and attendant
administrivia) and recruit new contributors (particularly from the
Asian-Pacific attendees, who, I'm told, are very anxious to get involved in
our group). I think the most effective way to address both goals will be in
separate sessions. The first session will be for RG "business" and the
second will be an introduction and open forum. I propose the following
agendas:

Session 1: PGM/GUS-RG Business
         1) Merger
                 A) New charter review
                 B) Old business resolution
                 C) Merger next steps and commitments
         2) Open Documents
                 A) Grid Constitution
                 B) Tools and Requirements
                 C) Next steps and commitments
         3) Workshop Planning
                 A) Brainstorm topics & co-sponsors
                 B) Workshop next steps and commitments
         4) GGF13 Open Session Planning
                 A) Agenda Review (see below)
                 B) Meeting Management (who will be doing what)
                 C) Followup Strategies
         5) Other topics (as needed - please advise)
         6) Review and wrapup

Session 2: PM/GUS Open Session
         1) RG Introductions
                 A) Charter, Leadership introductions
                 B) History
                 C) Communication
                         i) website
                         ii) mailing list
         2) Topics Being Addressed by the RG
         3) Documents
                 A) Completed
                 B) In progress
                 C) Proposed
         4) Workshops
                 A) Completed
                 B) Proposed
         5) Open Forum

Please let me know if you have any comments or if I've missed anything you'
like us to discuss face-to-face in Seoul.

thx
LM
