    In Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (HCIS), KIPS-CSWRG
publishes high-quality papers covering the various theories and practical
applications related to human-centric computing and information sciences.
The published papers present significant value to solve the different types
of human-centric problems with application services and other problems
within the scope of HCIS. In addition, we expect they will trigger further
related research and technological improvements relevant to our future
lives. Therefore, HCIS (Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences)
petitions special issue proposals on timely and significant technical

*Basic Guidelines for SI Proposal*

   - A brief outline of the topics on recent emerging technologies in the
   proposed theme.
   - HCIS (Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences) prefers that
   proposals are prepared in MS-Word format and contain the following
   information, and explain the proposed theme:

1.       Background and motivation of proposed theme

2.       Technical Scope of the proposed theme

3.       Adherence to the scope of the HCIS journal

   - Strategy for achieving the Attracting Quality Papers on the proposed
   theme.
   - A proposed tentative schedule including submission deadline and
   completion of the final process of the proposed theme.
   - HCIS encourages guest editors to have invited tutorials, reviews, or
   technical papers from eminent scholars.
   - List of Guest Editors with Biography. (HCIS usually selects four or
   five Guest Editors based on the balanced technical background)
   - A proposed One-Page Call-For-Papers.
   - List of potential reviewers.
   - All guest editors know the Submission process of the manuscript, and
   Formatting rules of the accepted manuscript according to the Journal

*Guest Editor’s Expected Role*

   - Guest Editors need to be leading scholars in the field with a
   reasonable diversity of academia/industry, geographical regions, and others.
   - Once the proposal is accepted, GE would be responsible to circulate
   the call for papers for the special issue and invite submissions.

·         One of the Guest editors should serve as the lead GE to take the
primary responsibility.

·         According to the Journal Guidelines, the Lead Guest Editor will
open a dedicated account and share it with all other guest editors.

·         Guest editors will coordinate the editorial process in
consultation with the Editor-in-Chief.

·         Guest editors will conduct all communication with reviewers,
authors, and editorial staff in ethical and professional manners.

·         The lead Guest editor makes recommendations to Editor and Chief
as a whole, and the lead Guest editor sends decision letters.

·         All Guest editors should be aware APC charges.

*Proposal Selection Process*

   - Overall Attracting Quality of the proposal.
   - The recent and emerging topic is within the scope of the journal.
   - Experience and historical background of the Guest Editor.
   - Check high-quality potential and trustable reviewer list.
   - Provides significant novelty and complements previously published
   issues of the journal.

*Proposal Submission, Evaluation, and Review*

·         Proposal submission should be made to the Editor-in-Chief of the
HCIS (Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences). Then, carefully
evaluate the proposal and reviewed it by the Editorial Board and give the
decision.

·         Submissions to an approved special issue should follow the same
format and protocols as listed under the Authors Guidelines on Journal.

·         The reviews of the papers should follow the same process as
listed under the Editor Guidelines and the designated timelines as shown in
the proposals.
