The website started having problems around 3pm EDT Sunday. The iBiblio folks did a few things and it seemed to recover, and then the back end failed almost entirely.

(You can post to social media if you are still up, but most people won't notice the site isn't working as usual)

** Partial outage of www.gutenberg.org. The systems that show new books and runs searches browsing had failures during the afternoon of Sunday April 21. As of 1am (Eastern Daylight Time) we are running on backup systems. There may be anomalies or brief outages until things are diagnosed and repaired on Monday morning.
