Notes:

Dave talked about the new NGN Management Focus Group section of the
wiki, done by Leen. There is a note at the top about the draft status
of the entry. Dave went into more detail about his group. The CIM-SID
Harmonization effort is part of the roadmap, but is not called out
specifically in the wiki entry.

Hiro asked if the document would fit with our current template for
describing management standards. Dave thought that it was not the
typical type of document that fit the template, but would consult with
Leen about it. Hiro also asked that the copy restrictions if any be made
clear.

The NGN group is also kicking off a Model Harmonization effort starting
with a Shared Information Architecture. This covers existing and
emerging models that need to be related to each other. Thus it would be
good to have an umbrella model that they can be "hosted" or "derived"
from. Both CIM and SID play a role in that they are generic information
models (less detailed, higher level) that other models could use in this
way. The more granular models relationship to these is still being explored.

CIM-SID Harmonization could use some visibility at the top level of the
SCRM wiki page to get some strong encouragement from the other
organizations. Annex 4 of the NGNMFG road covers the plans of the group.
Mark will ping the DMTF folks about this.

Dave also mentioned the NGOSS grid workshop happening in Geneva. He will
send a pointer to the SCRM list.

Hiro also asked about the management framework work going on in SNIA.
Mark gave a quick overview of the effort. The group agreed that a short
description of work in progress would be appropriate for the Wiki. Mark
will look into adding this.

Our next meeting will be November 13th at the usual coordinates.
