SRM Area Calls

- Will keep SRM calls
- Current time is OK (but not so great for Tokyo)
- Chairs would like a reminder email with an
  agenda + any announcements


Proposed Changes to GGF Operating Model
=======================================

- New "Compute" Area could be called "Scheduling"
  or "Execution" (but there are problems with these too.)
- (also missing is "Accounting", but it's OK to be
  in "Management")
- if you have ideas, please join the PROCESS-WG


Roadmap / Milestones
====================

ACS:

Plan to submit ACS specification to Editor around
September (GGF15) (Application Archive Format &
Application Repository Interface topics in a single
document). This is an aggressive target.

CDDLM:

Two docs done with public comment
Just submitted XML-based language spec to Editor
Plan to submit Component Model by GGF14
Plan to submit Deployment APIs by GGF14

DRMAA:

Plan to submit language independent doc by GGF14
(contains normative changes to current published
DRMAA spec, which it will supersede)

Plan to submit C bindings doc. by GGF15
Plan to submit Object oriented doc. by GGF14

GESA:

Hibernating
(Possibility of workshop to assess whether enough
folks are interested in de-hibernating GESA.)

GRAAP:

Plan to resubmit WS-Agreement for Public Comment
(2nd round) by GGF14.
Then focus on negotiation (the real charter);
no documents expected here before GGF16

GSA:

Plan to submit Use Cases doc around GGF14
Plan to submit Requirements doc before GGF16

JSDL:

Plan to submit JSDL doc (recommendations track)
before GGF14

OGSA-BES (BOF):

n/a

RUS:

Plan to submit RUS specification by GGF14

UR:

Plan to resubmit (2nd time) combined doc to be out
by GGF14.
Production Grid Services is planning a workshop
targeted at Usage Records at GGF15.
Post-workshop, will work on Experiences doc;
may have it by GGF16.
