Status
------
ACS-WG --
  [Status report from Keisuke Fukui]
We had face-to-face meetings on May 23 and 24 in Washington D.C.,
covering the review of the issues list and the requirements list,
how to create WG draft of the spec., our direction about collaboration
with CDDLM, NAREGI PSE and OASIS SDD TC and information exchange on
security. We made two session requests at GGF14 including a joint
one with CDDLM. We received an invitation for a management area
  meeting at GGF14.
CDDLM-WG --
Three documents now in GGF Editor pipeline.
The latest is CDDLM Configuration Description Language (CDL) Spec.
Two have been there for a while and are starting to move again
(CDDLM Foundation Document and CDDLM SmartFrog-Based Language
Specification-).
One more document is in WG last call.
A fifth document is close to WG last call.
Once all documents are in editor pipeline (shortly after GGF14),
group priorities will be to respond to public comments,
await reference implementations, and close group.
  Will have 6 sessions at GGF 14: documents; demos; interop; WSDM;
  ref implementation; other working groups.
Will send CDDLM representatives to ACS-WG and OGSA-WG session(s).
Will need to shuffle meetings to accomodate meeting with WSDM.
Dejan recently presented CDDLM to OGSA-WG.
DRMAA-WG --
Secretary (Peter Troeger) will host the one DRMAA session at GGF14.
  Hrabri will be on leave.
Dan Templeton will give a DRMAA tutorial at the JavaOne conference.
    http://java.sun.com/javaone/
GESA-WG -- (hibernating...)
GRAAP-WG --
Will have three sessions at GGF14:
One to discuss and finalize a couple of outstanding issues on the
WS-Agreeement spec (after which only minor editing should be required
  before submitting to GGF editor).
A second on implementations and evaluations; this will help to
prime communication between implementors in preparation for
  interoperability work.
  The third session will focus on the future of the group;
  what GRAAP-WG does next.
GSA-RG --
  [Status report from Ramin Yahyapour]
We are still working on our document. Only problem is that
Philipp Wieder who is working on one part of the doc got ill
the past days. I hope he is back to work in the next day, so
we can wrap everything up for Chicago.
JSDL-WG --
** PLEASE SEND STATUS TO sched-chairs at ggf.org
RUS-WG --
** PLEASE SEND STATUS TO sched-chairs at ggf.org
UR-WG --
** PLEASE SEND STATUS TO sched-chairs at ggf.org
WFM-RG --

Upcoming Telecons
-----------------

The future of these telecons is uncertain, given the
imminent transition to the new council and area structure.

Those on the call were unanimously of the opinion that
the calls are worthwhile, and that their frequency and
duration is about right. This message needs to be relayed
to the AD's of the new areas (especially Management
and Applications; the compute ADs are Bill and Stephen).

As always, please keep things moving forward --- if you need help
setting up a separate mailing list or teleconference calls for your
group, etc., don't hesitate to ask us.

Thanks all!

- Bill & Stephen
