Hi Folx,

as of today, GFD.90 is officially a full OGF recommendation!
Congratulations to us all :-)

On a technical note: we (GFSG) decided to keep the GFD number as is,
and replace the document with the updated spec.  The reason is that
all (known) implementations are implementing the revised specification
already, and the API changes to the previous revision are well
document and mostly backward compatible.  The document now refers to
the API as "SAGA Core API Version 1.1", so that version is what our
implementations are compliant with.  The document now also contains an
additional paragraph explaining the documents evolution.

The other SAGA document which are currently in the OGF pipeline are
proceeding nicely - the core-experience document is officially ready
to be published, and just needs to pass some formal amendments
(assigning GFD number etc).  The Message API and the Advert API
extensions are in final GFSG review, and should be past that in about
two weeks, and then also ready for publication as P-REC.  No changes
are expected to the documents at the moment.

For completeness I'd like to list the next four TODO items, in respect
to document business:

  - C++ language bindings
  - Python language bindings
  - Java language bindings
  - resource discover/management extension

Unless there is progress on these items it is likely useless to
discuss them *again*, but please keep in mind that not having those is
holding us back in several places...
