Discussion:
- Would the RM have more relevance if we expanded the scope?
- Action: Paul to make sure that the introductory text makes this
clear.
- Proposal: Change Grid to e-Infrastructure or Distributed Computing
Infrastructure (DCI).
- Action Dave to start discussion it on the list.
- Does the RM cover the "ownership" of components?
- Use cases for ownership:
- Setting access rights.
- Paying for it
- Responsible for it
- Claim value from it's use
- Stakeholders - beneficiaries of the component.
- Proposal: Management is in the model, but ownership is outside the
model.
- Action: Donnal to start discussion on the list
- Discussion of the model
- Identified a few spots to modify, mostly minor.
- The need for more use case like motivation in the discussion.
- Action: Implement this by describing the GME with these use cases
for motivation
- Problem Detection - Paul
- Provisioning - Dave
- Lifecycle Monitoring - Dave
- RM cover management across multiple domains - Donnal
- How much of this section do we need.
- Classification Section:
- Examples of how to use the 7 layer model.
Take care:
