This was changed in line with last weeks comments.  

*	PatternComponent and Policy are now sub-classes of
GridComponent.
*	The GridComponent InstantiationDependency self-association has
been changed from an aggregation to a straight association as
self-aggregations are not supported un the UML.
*	A couple of implementation specific attributes were removed from
the GridComponent class.

There wasn't much additional discussion on this diagram.

This has been changed in line with last week's comments.

*	Addition of Manages self-association for the manage component.
*	Addition of Manages association class for the association
between the ManagerComponent and the ManagedComponent.

Discussion

*	PDS suggested that we remove the Manages self-association and
replace with a comment.  The intent of the self association is to show
that some managing components are themselves managed.  PDS suggested
that such components should be sub-classed from both ManagerComponent
and ManagedComponent.

Observations

*	After the meeting PDS noticed that the PatternComponent
self-association was an aggregation.  This association may be removed as
it is implied via inheritance from the GridComponent that the
PatterComponent is now sub-classed from.

Again little discussion.

 

Actions

*	PDS to submit additional UML for the as many components as he
has by next week.  Note these are currently GIFs generated in Visio.
This will be converted to Rational Software Modeler shortly.
*	DS to submit alternative life-cycle/state transition diagram for
discussion next week.
*	Team to review both for discussion next week.
*	PDS to poll team for alternative meeting days/time.
