[PGS-RG] Joint Resource Usage Issues session at GGF/OGF18

The Usage Records Working Group is please to announce that version 1 of the
usage record format recommendation is complete. Following a final discussion
at GGF/OGF18 in Washington, DC next week, we will be resubmitting the
document to the OGF Editor to continue its way through the document process.
Version 1 is available online in the UR-WG gridforge repository at
https://forge.gridforum.org/sf/go/doc13787?nav=1.

In conjunction with the finalization of this document, we would like to
begin a dialogue with other working and research groups in OGF, to discuss
how the current recommendation fits in to how your group is thinking about
usage and resource consumption and measurement. We are also looking for
input to the next version of the recommendation, already in its initial
stages, which will extend version 1 into more grid-oriented structure.
