We encourage all SP2019 participants to take advantage of the Infoday and Brokerage Event organized by the French Energy NCP Network and the European Commission. Topic areas will include Energy-efficient buildings (EeB), Buildings in energy transition (B4E), Energy for consumers (EC), Energy system (ES) and Smart cities and communities (SCC)

Keynote Highlight

We are proud to welcome Audrey Nugent, Head of Advocacy from the World Green Building Council to Sustainable Places 2019. She'll talk about the role of Green Building Council's in Europe and worldwide and trends affecting the building sector and sustainability protocols as we shift beyond buildings, toward cities and always with the wellness of people and the environment in our mind and actions. Collectively, the Green Building Council network is the largest sustainability organization worldwide with member councils in over 70 countries and approximately 49,000 members.    

CAM Training – Accredited

Green Building Council Italia, Chapter Sardegna, will be offering "Formazione CAM" (training on Criteria Ambientale Minimi) to local area and national Italian building professionals free of charge on 5 June before SP2019 officially kicks off. City Tour – Discover Cagliari

National Park Visit

Immediately following the event on the afternoon of 7th June, the organizing committee is making available a guided visit to the Molentargius-Saline natural park which covers over 1600 hectares and which is famous for the numerous colonies of flamingos that live there. Since the decommissioning of the salt extraction activities, the park has been redeveloped and transformed into what is now one of the richest birdlife park of Sardinia. The park is ideal for an experience in contact with nature, just five minutes away from the city center and the guided tour will allow you to discover the characteristics and peculiarities of the area.
