Thanks for the clarification David. Putting it another way UDDI can still be used, but a separate claim for conformance should reference WS_I basic profile rather ogsa-wsrf-basic-profile.

Abdeslem,

The reason for excluding UDDI from the profile is NOT to prohibit its  
use, but to allow OGSA to use other discovery techniques. The wording  
in the Basic Profile is quite strong wrt the use of UDDI.
