Folks,

On Wed Nov 19 (5:30pm - 7:00pm) at Supercomputing 08 in Austin, TX, we will
be holding a Birds-of-a-Feather (BOF) around the HPC Profile WG effort. The
purpose of this BOF is to continue to expand the reach and impact of the HPC
Profile -- update people on what we have been doing, telling new people
about our goals/efforts, convincing people to try out the software available
that implements the HPC Profile, etc.

As working group co-chairs, Steven Newhouse and I would like to ask you to
consider actively participating in the presentations/discussions!

If you are interested in presenting your group's activities around the HPC
Profile effort, please let me know! This is a great opportunity for us to
get more people to know about our great work!

So, by Wed Nov 12, please send me email if you're interested. We're open to
a broad range of topics ("here's why we think the HPC Profile is important",
"here's a description of our code that implements the HPC Profile and where
you can download our code", "here's how we propose to use the GLUE schema in
combination with the HPC Profile", "here's what we'd like to see next in the
WG effort", etc.) Consider putting together roughly 10-15 minutes.

Questions? Comments?

Again, I think this is a great opportunity to get people to know more about
our efforts and to get more people involved. Let's put together a great BOF!

-- Marty
