[OGSA-D-WG] updates to Data Storage section

Hi everyone,

I have done my updates to the Data Storage section 8. I've added in the
Space and Directory Management Operations and done some small editorial
changes/trimmings to the existing text. 

 

There were a couple of bits that I wasn't sure about:

 

1.	In section 8.4 I have currently left in the "Retention Type"
Storage Space Property, but I wonder if this paragraph should be deleted
since I thought there had been some discussion about whether including
the storage space terms 'permanent', 'volatile' and 'durable' was a good
idea or not?

 

2.	I haven't touched section 8.5 "Site and VO Management", but
should this section be kept in or perhaps moved somewhere more general?
Most of section 8.5 is applicable to all data services I think, and not
just storage services.

 

3.	Section 8.7 "Interaction of Storage and Transfer" is probably
out of date now and could be deleted perhaps??
