(Please forward this message to friends and colleagues who may be interested)

Greeting All,

Registration for the December Cloud Plugfest is now open. Please visit the Cloud Plugfest website by December 3 to register - http://www.cloudplugfest.org/next-event/registration

The December 2012 event is the 7th in the series and is proudly co-organized by OGF, the SNIA Cloud Storage Initiative and ETSI. Co-hosts for the US and European locations are SNIA and ETSI, respectively. ETSI CTI is also providing testing support.

What: Cloud Plugfest co-organized by OGF, SNIA Cloud Storage Initiative and ETSI

When: December 10-11-12, 2012

Where: US/Raleigh, NC (hosted by IBM) and Europe/Sophia-Antipolis, FR (hosted by ETSI)

Who's invited?

All cloud implementers are invited to participate either in person or remotely. Participants need not be members of the SNIA, CSI or OGF and the cost to register is FREE! Attendees are responsible for all other costs (travel, meals, etc.) associated with participating in this event including any participation fees imposed by co-located venues or event sponsors.

Why attend?

The cloud plugfest will offer a highly collaborative, vendor-neutral, environment for developers and vendors to perform interoperability testing of CDMI and OCCI implementations. The previous Cloud Plugfest, held in September 2012, attracted 30+ participants from over 15 companies and organizations.

By attending the cloud plugfest participants will:

- Gain a greater understanding of what the needs are for establishing better interoperability with Cloud Computing and Cloud Storage standards, and the opportunity to refine those standards.

- Gain a better understanding of the requirements for interoperability integration between Cloud Storage (CDMI) and Cloud Computing (OCCI)

- Interact directly with cloud implementers and early adopters of CDMI and OCCI

How to register?

The cost to register is free. Visit the cloud plugfest registration page at http://www.cloudplugfest.org/next-event/registration. E-mail updates will be sent to registered participants as the plugfest nears.

Regards,

Cloud Plugfest Planning Team
