OCCI & OS:
There will be a presentation of & demo on it at the Cloud Plugfest. It right now supports provisioning of VMs, storage volumes, linking of them and work will begin on further deep integration with quantum (OS's network as a service stack). There is some basic capabilities related to networking currently but they're not as rich as how they're described in the OCCI spec. The code is currently under IP review however this is more procedural than it is a blocker in any respect. Once this is complete the code will be made public.

HTH,
Andy

Thought you would be interested in the following link.

Topic:
... several members of the OpenStack community have announced their collaboration to build TryStack, a free sandbox for those interested in exploring and testing the open source cloud operating system.

Note also we have our own FutureGrid sandbox: https://portal.futuregrid.org/project/176
-- accounts are available for anyone who wants to try a cloud standards-related experiment or integration.

Can anyone summarize the status of the OpenStack implementation work for OCCI?

Alan
