What I understand from Jeroen and John's proposal is that John proposed
a change to the Adaptation Service, making it more generic (basically is
a service between two groups of Ports, rather than between a specific
set of Ports).

I think the idea is good, and if it is useful, I'll gladly support a
change/extension to the NML base schema to support this.

We'll discuss this at the upcoming OGF.
