Guy Roberts:  This issue has been assigned to Jeroen van der Ham to review.
We need a way of making the STPs scale, i.e. something better than one STP  
per vlan.  I suggest we investigate the possibility of assigning technology  
specific attributes and vlan ranges to connection requests.
