Minutes from the INFOD conference call on Thursday, September 20 2007 @

Discussions:

    * *Report about UTK activities*
          o The scenario discussed in the previous minutes

            has been solved with 2 subscriptions,. The solution will be
            documented in the prototype documentation
          o Programs are written to simulate publishers and consumers
    * *Action items*:
          o For the latest status please check /INFOD Current Actions/
            in the /Current Drafts/ folder

          o Here

            is the tentative schedule.
          o The information session on Wednesday has the following
            tentative schedule:
                + Overview of model, activities and plans - Steve - 20
                  minutes
                + Reference implementation and first responder use case
                  with demo - Raghul - 40 minutes
                + Extended specifications, some ideas - Dieter - 30 minutes
          o The first working session on Thursday will be dedicated to
            an in depth discussion of the SensorNet project - Raghul, Arjun.
          o The second working session on Thursday is focused on a gap
            analysis based on R-GMA and SensorNet  - Steve, Arjun.
          o The third working session on Thursday is focused on the
            extended specifications - Dieter.
    * *Miscellaneous item*
          o OGSA architecture - Arjun will review and compose a response
          o Steve's e-mail - XML thoughts

            - was discussed. It is possible and maybe logical even the
            best approach to consider an INFOD registry as one
            document.  However, for practical reasons - performance,
            security and locking - it is advisable to make each resource
            a document.
