Hi Steve,
You are right I think that our text should not say "... using the SOAP
v1.1. Base Fault Spec", but should perhaps say "... using
WS-BaseFaults".
And then as you say, our spec should clearly mark any SOAP stuff as
"SOAP Examples".

We say in a number of cases:
The message will be sent using the SOAP v 1.1. Base Fault Spec:

However the document mentioned above explains the BaseFault and then
shows *as examples* SOAP 1.1 and 1.2 encodings. We must not tie our spec
to SOAP!
Do people agree?
