Participants: Chris, Dieter, Ronny, Susan, Vijay

Apologies: Shailendra, Steve, Steven

Items discussed

1. Bulk transfer of messages - Current INFOD specifications does not clarify
the propogation mode for messages for the consumption by client. Also, the
current message structure does not define the support for multiple
messages. Whether INFOD will support bulk transfer or otherwise needs to be
agreed upon after a detailed discussion

2. Control and Data paths - In its present form INFO-D provides web service
interfaces to control the behavior of the services. Essentially these calls
translate to SOAP messages and can be used as messages to alter the behavior
of the service. One could imagine a INFO-D service as a consumer of
instruction messages. The additional flexibility of merging the data paths
will allow the creation of self-configuring dissemination networks. The
possibile relevance of the above to INFOD community needs to be explored.

3.Susan will shortly start to create the use case document. This use case
document will contain the patterns and the identified use cases. Everyone
who has signed up to create use cases should provide them to her ASAP; at
least some skeleton.
