The Second Grid Resource Management Workshop 2005
Poznan, Poland (GRMW'2005)

in conjunction with the
SIXTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PARALLEL PROCESSING
AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS - PPAM 2005
Poznan, Poland,
September 11-14, 2005

The first GRMW took place in Poznan in October 2003, during the 10th
Anniversary of PSNC. The second workshop will be organized in parallel
with the PPAM 2005 conference to be held in Poznan, September 11-14,
2005.
The workshop is organized in coordination with the European CoreGRID
project.
The main goal of the workshop is to provide a forum to researchers
working on Grid scheduling and resource management where they could
share with
each other the methods, algorithms and architectures for grid
scheduling.

GRMW'2005 will gather researchers working on aspects such as:

• Grid scheduling architecture,
• Brokering mechanisms,
• Grid service management,
• Accounting,
• Economy grids,
• Resource discovery and monitoring,
• Policy management,
• Job and resource description languages,
• Scheduling and mapping algorithms,
• Heuristics and metaheuristics,
• Workflow execution and management
• Data and network scheduling
