GOCDB has received a request to add a new service type, summarised below.

There is a GGUS ticket open here to track discussion: https://ggus.eu/index.php?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=151936 and a PR against OGF-GLUE/Enumerations: https://github.com/OGF-GLUE/Enumerations/pull/26.

Hi all,

GOCDB has received a request to add a new service type, summarised below. As per the lightweight review process, please raise any concerns about this proposal on the GGUS ticket by 31st May: https://ggus.eu/index.php?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=151936


-        name of the service: nl.surf.spider-eosc

-        high-level description of the service functionality: Spider-EOSC is a versatile high-throughput data-processing platform. This PaaS is aimed at: (i) processing large (TB-PB scale) structured data sets, (ii) collaborations and (iii) interoperability. It runs on top of SURF's in-house elastic Cloud.

-        project/community/organization maintaining the software: This PaaS is maintained by SURF

-        scope of deployment (number of instances and by which organizations): 1 (deployed at the SURF organization)
