[glue-wg] FW: Request for new GOCDB service types: eu.egi.aai.saml.login and eu.egi.aai.oidc.login

Hi all,

GOCDB has received a request to add new service types: eu.egi.aai.saml.login and eu.egi.aai.oidc.login, see below.

The 4 ServiceTypes this request also seeks to remove never became part of OGF-GLUE/Enumerations, as I never got around to the GitHub PR.

There is a GGUS ticket open here: https://ggus.eu/index.php?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=150169 to track the discussion around this request if anyone on this list has any comment on it.

As previously discussed, I have also made a GitHub PR against OGF-GLUE/Enumerations: https://github.com/OGF- GLUE/Enumerations/pull/20<https://github.com/OGF-%20GLUE/Enumerations/pull/20> so that the review periods can overlap. I'll comment on the PR once we have added the ServiceType to GOCDB.

GOCDB has received a request to add 2 new service types, summarised below. As per the EGI lightweight review process, please raise any concerns about this proposal on the GGUS ticket by 19th March: https://ggus.eu/index.php?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=150743

1.
Service Type: eu.egi.aai.saml.login
Description: Enables federated access to a SAML Service Provider using login credentials managed by Identity Provider(s) provided via configuration. Provided by GRNET.
scope: EGI Check-in (https://aai.egi.eu) deployed by GRNET
contact: check-in at egi.eu<mailto:check-in at egi.eu>

2.
Service Type: eu.egi.aai.oidc.login
Description: Enables federated access to an OpenID Connect Relying Party using login credentials managed by Identity Provider(s) provided via configuration. Provided by GRNET.
scope: EGI Check-in (https://aai.egi.eu) deployed by GRNET

These new ServiceTypes would replace the following ServiceTypes, and once all Services have switched over, we would also seek to delete the following ServiceTypes.
- eu.egi.aai.saml.login.egisso
- eu.egi.aai.saml.login.edugain
- eu.egi.aai.oidc.login.egisso
- eu.egi.aai.oidc.login.edugain
