Isn't that the point of having the Resource? That represents the
management system, and is linked to N Datastores each of which
represents a homogeneous pool of storage. You can choose not to publish
some or all of the Datastores, but I don't see any gain from merging
them together, it would just take us back to the complexity we're trying
to disentangle (i.e. what kind of physical storage is used where).
