[gin-jobs] Standarized Execution Environment

Have you considered the use of virtualisation technologies such as Xen
or VMWare?

I've heard that VMWare provide a free package that allows you to wrap an
application and all the libraries (and OS?) that it depends on so that
you can run it on any machine - but I don't know the details.
