All,
Firstly apologies for letting the dust settle (a bit too much) after GGF
17. However, things have probably become clearer over the past few weeks.
The plan discussed at GGF17 was to focus on initially building
interoperation around WS GRAM, pre-WS GRAM and UNICORE systems. There
are infrastructures being put in place in the other groups (VO tools,
information services, etc.) that will make this easier - in the long term.
At the moment a VOMS service has come up... but some sites will require
individual registration (e.g. TeraGrid, NGS, ...).
To boot strap we need a record of how to apply for accounts and the
systems we should be testing against. Some information has already come
in (thanks!) and is recorded on a NeSC Wiki -
http://wiki.nesc.ac.uk/read/gin-jobs to support this activity. Please
register for an account and let me know your user name so I can add you
to the edit list.
Please use the wiki:
1. To record your resources and how to gain access to them.
2. The results of the interoperation activity.
This will provide useful material when it comes to recording our
eventual success!
Regards,
Steven
