Hello Gregor,

would it be worth mentioning that actual globus-url-copy *did* work 
between some GIN sites in the second matrix?

Also, thet statement "one has to apply to all GIN sites" is not quite 
accurate from the gin-auth point of view: one just has to apply for GIN 
VO membership and have a certificate issued by an IGTF-affiliated CA. 
GIN sites, in turn, have to install the latest IGTF CA packages and 
authorize GIN VO. So, there are 2 + N*2 conditions where N is amount of 
GIN sites, and of those at least one is never satisfied, apparently.
