[gin-data] SRM interop plan

Hello,

I would like to suggest one more item to be tested before any SRM interfaces:

Compatibility of transport protocol implementation used by SRM servers.

I'm talking about infamous "HTTP over GSI" which was never properly defined AFAIK.
