Area directors meeting:

- GGF performs some restructuring, focus on the roadmap of the WG's
- new 'Scheduling' sub-group with GRAAP, JSDL, ...
- DRMAA comes to the 'API' group
- no problem with re-submission of a revised DRMAA spec

OGSA/BES BoF:

- very focused; JSDL, GRAAP
- BES assumes that placement decision was already done
- they have a job state transition model; richer than DRMAA, includes 
file staging
- mapping to DRMAA should be no problem
- identified status notification as relevant issue
- phone conferences planned
