Dear Douglas,
I think you are right.
We will do our best to integrate H-TCP in the survey.
Best regards
Pascale

Pascale,

You appear to have omitted a discussion of H-TCP. This proposal was presented at PFLDnet 2004 in Chicago and has been tested by the groups at SLAC, Caltech and North Carolina (see recent publications by these groups) as well as by ourselves. It has been available as a Linux implementation for two years now (see www.hamilton.ie/net) and is to be imported into the next Linux 2.6 release. In the experimental results presented by myself at PFLDnet 2005 in Lyon, it was the only candidate protocol that did not exhibit severe problems even with the very simple set of tests carried out (these will be the subject of our comnet article). It was also discussed in some detail by Les Cottrell at Lyon. In view of this fairly extensive body of published work, it might be useful to include mention of H-TCP if your survey is to be complete.

Regards,

Doug
